It had been 33 weeks since John Lee got hurt. This week marks by an outpouring of support as seen in a Photo Gallery on ESPN,
John Lee rode his bike for the first time, at the Ithaca Park on Labor Day.
There are a lot of important lessons to be learned through John’s journey, one being that the whole world can change for any of us in the blink of an eye, but also that in time of struggle, John’s strength of Character showed his ability to rise above with PMA, and also how by being such a positive element in BMX, that a whole community rallied behind him, to help however anyone could. Lot of really crucial people coming together, it’s been awe inspiring….
