Authorized FBM dealer, Anti Gravity Skatepark, in Kenny Horton’s hometown of Newport News, hosted Rick Thorne’s “grindz and rhymez” tour last night, and it was pretty awesome. Say what you will about Rick Thorne, but he is alright in my book. How many 40 year old dudes put on a show EVERY night, to get kids stoked, and give them tons of free shit? Anyrate, he is still putting in work, and his involvement obviously has a positive impact, and thats pretty cool.
We tested out the stump jump for an impromptu photo shoot with Rick’s team, in preparation for the April 10th Bike lot Punk show/ ramp jam. All indications point towards another good time, fille dwith high fives and radittude!
Human Bob, formerly known as JNKFD bob, known by his loved ones as Bob Quirk, is releasing the first official Print version of what started as an online zine. April first in RVA, art show, ramp beer bongs, and the zine… Bob was also quoted as saying- “why do I need a website anymore, we printed a magazine…” then he went and learned a hybrid Phil Wasson wallride footplant. Bob’s Band Dry Spell is also going to be playing the Bike lot April 10th!
