In case you didn’t know, we make bikes, and we want to make more bikes, so we are trying to pre book sales on our New Raconteurs, so that we can
bring this new idea for FBM to reality.
FBM Bike Company started in 1993 as an association of like-minded people who loved riding bikes and having fun. At first we hand printed t-shirts and sold them out of backpacks; within five years, FBM commissioned its first BMX frames and small parts—all made in the US—. In 2001, after a fire destroyed our original offices we used the insurance money to build our own machine shop and started handcrafting BMX frames and forks in an old factory in central New York. Since then FBM has expanded its product line to include a variety of handcrafted handlebars, forks, fixed gear frames, and bike polo frames as well as line of components and soft goods. Whenever possible we make our products in house, with our own hands.
