as you may or may not know i ate some unknowingly moldy french bread, which inadvertently gave me the temporary power to see the future,and here it is...

well it`s partially true but thats just the bad, i do clean up quite a bit of left around food on the sidewalks and roads that i frequent. sorry if i pooped hepatitis on your head.

Nic`s Birthday Velodrome Nic`s birthday celebration consisted of one night of friends hanging out with adult drinks and the next day anyone inclined was invited to join in the velodroming. We showed up to the colorado springs 7 eleven velodrome and John Cotton( the man in charge) told us it closed in 20 minutes,20 minutes of some type of bike riding is better than none so we got some loaner fixed gear track bikes that fit us and started on the warm up track. After the olympic bound riders were done training John gave us some pointers on riding the big beast.We started on the bottom first lap the went up a lane per lap as we got acclimated. More than twenty minutes passed and John let us keep riding,after a few drinks of water and some easy laps i started trying some gravity aided acceleration,go into the bank turn high and halfway through carve down to the low lane.This worked awesome and i was going faster with every carve,after three or four laps of this i would be dead ,full sprint does that to you. All in all it was the best birthday idea i`ve heard of and we all had fun,thanks to Sarah for shooting the pics and please think good thoughts for Sarah`s brother John(pictured on the black bike,iron maiden shirt) who was hurt pretty bad the following day taking a big fall while exploring an empty building,he`s a strong dude.Get well John!

Toaster Strudel

This is what happens when you ride next to a playground,you meet little kids,whether you want to or not. Some are cool and end up riding,some just drive you mad and then there`s kids like Toaster Strudel.The first thing that popped in my head when i saw him was "Toaster Strudel" He would be at our riding spot with his brother riding around, asking questions,wheezing like a Shar-Pei,offering brilliant get rich schemes to us. He said we could film ourselves crashing and send it to Americas Funniest Home videos and make like $ 999,000, he had our best interest in mind. I feared he would die of an obesity related illness before he was out of elementary,he was 8 years old and well over-stuffed. Here`s to Toaster Strudel, i hope he`s still breathing and mobile. Leif

Some recent pics here,i went on the recent local exposure tour and met this snail in california. I was sitting on the curb drinking some coffee when i spotted it sliming around, it then flipped me off and told me to get out of it`s way because i was drinking my coffee too slow! well it is a california snail. Apparently there are still some dinosaurs left here in colorado,i was lucky to snap this stegasaurous crossing my path this winter. My boss gave me this Puch moped(pronouced- pook), and after a few weeks of fixing it up it Lives! It`s hard not to laugh when riding this neat little machine,super bad ass?
